Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our students express themselves creatively through choirs, string ensembles, concert band, recorder groups and the rock band. They rehearse at school and regularly perform at school and community events such as special assemblies, the Marrickville Music Festival and our choir students perform at the Cantabile Concert at the Sydney Opera House each year.
Competitions
Students are involved in a range of different competitions at our school to extend their learning. From the Maths Olympiad to The Game Changer Challenge students use critical thinking to compete in lots of different ways.
