Music Count Us In!

During the 2020 Learning from Home period, Why Music Matters - Australia and New Zealand commissioned Music: Count Us In to re-release all their animations dating back to 2012 to assist with remote learning. So, in true Marrickville Public School style, all the teachers and staff jumped fully on board to help keep the spirits up at home!  

Each Wednesday, students were assigned the weekly Music: Count Us In song to enjoy singing, and then surprise!... on Friday's their teachers would be singing, dancing and playing music on Google Clsssroom for them! 

Huge thanks go to our talented teachers, especially Ms O'Connell for using her music skills to bring us all together during this time, and Mr Murphy for his multi-instrumental wonderfulness!
